Verse of the day

" But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."- Luke 1:30-33

Can you imagine being told, "you have found great favor with God"? I guess technically we have. Jesus is sitting on the right hand of God making intercession for us. He is pleading our case. He makes it so that we are seen by God though the blood of His son. He sees us as holy and rightous. How convicting!!! Just to sit back and think of how He, God Almighty, sees us. That makes me want to strive for holiness. I want to live how He sees me. But in the mean time, I will be certain to thank Jesus for coming down from heaven, wrapping Himself in flesh, walking this earth for 33 years being tempted in everyway we are tempted, brought forth in a mock trial for a crime He did not commit, then hung, bled, suffered, died, and ROSE again for you and I so that we might be see as spotless before a Holy God. Thank you Jesus!!! Dawn
