My Dear Friend and Sister, I wanted to let you know that your last post on your profile made me cry. You described the struggle and the victory so precisely that I could totally relate. Sometimes I feel guilty (which comes from the enemy) that I needed this surgery but the way you put it made me realize that the enemy has no footing here. You are a blessing to all of us and so encouraging! Love ya lots! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Dear Lynda, I am so happy for you. I have never been skiing. I always enjoy watching it but I have been afraid to attempt to sky. Perhaps that will be something else I will try after I reach my goal weight along with paragliding. I received your Christmas card today. Thank you for enclosing the picture of yourself. It was so beautiful. I believe John received your e-mail. I know he told me he was extremely blessed by the number of e-mails he received. It really meant a lot to him. Thank you for praying for him and our family. May you have a blessed Christmas, Kathy

Hi Kathy, You are such a blessing and I know that you will reach out and do things that will enliven your spirit - it is so neat to have goals and dreams. I have a sign in my front entrance way that says: "Dreams Come True, Prayers Are Answered, Miracles Happen." We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! Paragliding would be so fun! Once again I want to thank you and your husband for the sacrifies you both are making with him being in Iraq. What an honor for him to serve his country in Iraq - I lift him and you up in prayers! Love ya lots! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Lynda, I just read about your skiing trip, and I still have tears in my eyes. To be able to revive your special love for gliding down a white fluffy mountainside!! I've never been able to even try it with my hips, but have imagined the pure exhilaration it must inspire!! I have just sat here for the longest time, thinking of how it will be, to be able to so some of the things I have missed so...It's time for me to make out my wish list!! Thanks for sharing such a great moment with us, and God bless you, Lynda!! Kathrine (ktb)

Lynda! Lynda! Lynda! I am so happy for you! PRAISE THE LORD! I remember when I was able to play tennis for the first time after my first surgery. I hadn't done it in probably 15 years. It was the neatest experience. I am now playing the waiting game since I had my second surgery in August to be able to play tennis again. It feels like a miracle to be skiing again, doesn't it.....and it is! "Thank you Lord for loving us so much that you saved us from ourselves. We love You so much. In Jesus' precious name. Amen." Love ya, Peg
