 Hello everyone! We...

Hi Kathy. I'm glad you made it home safely. Doubts are bound to spring up at this time with your surgery fast approaching. However, it sounds like God answered your prayers in the speed in which everything is going. Pretty soon you will be through the surgery and back home with your family. God will see you through this, and we will continue to pray for you. Do keep us posted on how you are doing.
Love,
Peg

Hi Kathy!
Welcome back! I had and am still having those doubts - I am 2 1/2 months out and so far, so good, and what a blessing it has been! So far my surgery has worked just like it is suppose to. I tried eating some sweets at Christmas time and dumped - not pleasant - thank you Lord! I used the pun at Thanksgiving that instead of "stuffing" my face (with my favorite stuffing), I enjoyed the fellowship of my family. You will learn coping mechanisms that fit you best - it seems like we all have our little tricks and I am looking forward to hearing what yours are! But the really neat part is, we have the Lord, we have a place to go that truly gives us the strength to use this surgery to our best benefit. I cannot say it enough - this surgery has been a miracle!!
And speaking of snow! - It is snowing here in Utah as well! I moved from Idaho Falls, ID last year and I do miss it, especially the Tetons and skiing in Jackson Hole, WY. Yes, this surgery has made it to where I can ski to my heart's content. The skiing is good here in Utah too but I do miss Idaho. I am thankful for studded tires too and a cute little Subaru! Love ya and again welcome back!
God Bless,
Lynda
