Hi Letty, I will be praying for you. I know what you mean about the pre-surgery back pain. The way that I felt I would never want anyone to have to experience that type of pain. God is a Healer and I know that He has it all in control. I am praying for your back in Jesus Name. JaNae

Letty~ My sweet sister in the Lord, I am lifting you up in prayer right now. Have you tried taking any pain killers. I know that when I had back pain from my kidneys I found medicine at Rite Aid made JUST for back pain. It really helped. Don't worry about your "tude" with your man. We are all subject to "off" days here and there. The most important thing is that both of you know how to handle difficult situations. You could easily start a shouting match with each other over something stupid; or the person had to hear your mouth could respond with love. You guys seem to be on the right track. Love ya, Dawn

My boyfriend has taught me that us as human beings defend ourselves better staying quiet (which is also what the book James teaches us). Which is what he did and I did last night. Isn't he AWESOME??!!! Thank you so much for your prayers Dawn!! Love you my sweet sister, Letty P.S.Hoooray!!!!! Your "date" is right around the corner!!! (praying for you as well)

Hi Letty, I am praying for you sweety. I know how you feel. I have to start PT again for my back, and am on meds. I also still use my TENS machine. If you go to the doctor, you may want to ask about getting one. You hook it up to your back with electrodes and can adjust it and it sends impulses and interrupts the pain signals. It works sometimes...and for some people, but on some days, it has been the only way I have been able to function when I have had nothing for pain and can't stand up. Something else you may want to try is Thermacare patches that you can stick on your back. They stay warm for 8 hours and will help at work. They are a bit pricey, but sometimes you can find coupons online and in the paper for them. Hope this helps. Love you, Stephanie

Hi Letty. I am continuing to hold you up in prayer. Sounds like you got lots of good advice from lots of people who care about you. Here's my one suggestion: You might consider seeing an orthopedist rather than a chiropractor. My insurance covers the first, but not the second. Just a thought. Love you! Peg

Dear Letty, Praying and trusting Him for your healing.Thankful we serve a God who is still in the business of miracles. Take refuge in His word. Then Jesus, said, " Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light." Matt 11: 28-30 NLT Now that is good Medicine... Sister Seek medical help you only get one back (a favorite expression in my household) and the long and short term ramifacations of acute/chronic back pain are financially, physically, emotionally draining........ happy to bring your needs before Him Vicky
