*~*~SATURDAY ROLL CALL~*~*
Hi fellow Christians,
I just found this board. I've been posting on the May 05 board and the Virginia board, but am delighted to find some fellow Christians here too! Decided I'd join right in on your roll call...
1. Name a stonghold in your bc (before Christ) life that you have been delivered from. I came to know Christ when I was 11 and cannot think of anything specific before that time, but since I'm 44 I have definitely had times since then that I didn't walk as closely with him as I'd like. He has delivered me from not being as dedicated to my family as I needed to be and has increased my faith recently by helping me become much closer to my husband than in the past.
2. When you were a child did you like your name? If not, what did you wi**** was? I always wanted me name to be Judy.
3. If you are married, how old were you when you "tied the knot"? 36
4. How many bibles (roughly) do you own? Where are they?
Wow, probably about 20. Many are in storage since we've moved a lot, but the one I use daily is right here in my office. It's a New King James version given to me by my husband two Valentines Days back.

3. If you are married, how old were you when you "tied the knot"? 22 the 1st time 28 the second time.
4. How many bibles (roughly) do you own? Where are they?

Hi Dawn!
Well, it is late Saturday afternoon here - several hours since you posted roll call! What a day it has been! We had our Secret Sister revealing at church then we had two baby showers! I am exhausted! Lots of partying! I just tried to call you Dawn, but you weren't home so I will try again tomorrow!
Answers:
1. Fear.
2. I have always liked my name and I love to hear it when people speak it. But I am going to love it most when God speaks my name in heaven.
3. I was 21 and so in love and still in love with my man! He was and still is such a gentleman. It has been over 25 years ago! I fell in love with him because he had such a strong walk in the Lord and I was a baby Christian and he taught me a lot about the Lord - my husband is truly my spiritual mentor.
4. Several - different translations, different sizes, some that are so worn and tattered but can't bring myself to throw them away, and one in particular that was my great grandmother's that is special to me. She was the Mormon matriarch of our family but at the age of 87 God called her unto Himself and she became a born again Christian! She lived to be 96 and truly served the Lord the last 6 years of her life! I have the Bible where she wrote her conversion date down - precious to me and such a witness to the rest of the family! The Bible I use the most now is the New Geneava Study Bible.
I love all of you and I am praying for you!
Dawn, You are constantly on my heart and mind and in my prayers. Only 2 more days and you will be on the loser's bench and it's a great place to be. I love you very much and I will talk to you soon!
God Bless,
Lynda
Phil. 4:8
Hi Dawn, I will be keeping you and Kathrine in prayer for Monday!
1. Cussing, smoking, "women's lib", rejection.....Thank You, Jesus! (I got saved at 25 years old.)
2. I've always liked my name and loved that I also had a nickname: Cindy. I used to not like my middle name, but have grown to like it now.
3. 18 (We have been married for 27 yrs this next month! Yes, I will be 46 yrs old in 2006!)
4. Two KJV & one NIV. My KJV Study Bible is right here beside me; my other KJV is at my bedside; my NIV is at my desk in the office.
Love you guys! Cindy
