Great to hear from you Dawn! So glad you are on the losing side now. Hope your recovery is quick and you start getting your energy back really soon. Mine was open too and I've got the zipper scar to prove it but I have not regretted it even one day. Tomorrow is 3 months out for me and so many wonderful changes already. Take care and get your rest (a bit hard with children the ages of yours! ).So glad you are home!

My doctor said that here prefered open to lap because he likes to be able to see with his own eyes as opposed to looking at a tv screen. My response: You do what every makes you feel best. Wanna operate through my big toe? Be my guest!! 3 months huh? How much have lost so far? What type of foods are you able to eat now? Most anything, except the obvious?
