Exciting news to share!
Hi everybody!
I wanted to share with all of my friends about my day yesterday. My husband was supposed to have to work all day and he came home early and announced that he was taking me to dinner and that he wanted to try and take me clothes shopping. (I am still wearing my baggy preop clothes.) Some of you know that I have been in a lot of pain and well, really have not been anywhere other than taking the kids to school. I am in PT again so hopefully it will be better soon. Anyway, he took me to Prime Outlets in Williamsburg to my favorite store, which is the Liz Claiborne Women store. I had taken something for pain so I would be able to function for a while, and they were having a huge sale and I picked out some things....but not too much since I am still losing. (I have lost 80 pounds now, but have 40-60 to go to be in my proper weight range.)Well, I went in the dressing room to try all these beautiful clothes on, and NOTHING fit!!!!! I tried on so many things!!! My husband was actually helping me pick out clothes...helping me shop...and nothing would fit!!!! EVERYTHING was too BIG!!!! Both of us were laughing!!!! We had to LEAVE and go next door to the regular Liz Claiborne outlet, where I bought size 16 pants and large and extra large shirts...and cute ones at that! And...of course...there was so much to choose from! My husband got a real education on women's clothes...LOL and why I LOVE that outlet because the clothes are so well made and the deals on the clearance rack are so good. To top it off...I had to ask for size 16 petites...and the clerk that helped me said, "you don't look like you wear a size 16?" in front of my husband, and we just looked at each other and started giggling. It was funny....made me feel good...have not had a day like that in a long time and I wanted to share with my friends. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie. It sounds like you have a wonderful husband. I am so tickled for you! What a nice surprise to have to go next door to shop at the regular Liz Claiborne! I would have been giggling too!
What is going on with you? I'm sorry you are in so much pain. I went to your profile to find out what is going on, but you haven't logged anything there since November. I am praying right now that the Lord will take away your pain, if it is His will. If not, I pray that He will use your pain and frailities to His glory. I have had to pray that so many times. We sang "Blessed Be the Name of the Lord" today at church. I love that song. It reminds me that we are to praise Him in good times and in bad. "When the darkness closes in Lord, still I will pray, blessed be the name of the Lord.....You give and take away. You give and take away. My heart will choose to say, Blessed be Your name."
I love you, Stephanie, and I will continue to pray for you. God bless you, dear sister in Christ.

Stephanie, I didn't realize you were in so much pain either. Does the DR. know why? I will pray for you. Father we are excited about Stephanie's weight loss, but we know that you want more for her than that! That you desire full health for your precious daughter. We ask you now that you move your hand to strenghen and heal her quickly. We thank you for Stephanie, she is a beautiful sister to us, a strong encourager, quick to uplift and slow to complain about her burden of pain. Bless her now will full health in the name of your precious son Jesus. Amen. Love to you, J.Maire.
What a beautiful family you have Stephanie....the picture of the girls reminded me of how my mom used to fix my hair when I was little.....love those curls!
You DH did a wonderful thing and you will remember it always....I hope the pain issues are soon resolved and you can achieve ALL the goals that you set out to do.
