1. What are you planning on doing today? I plan on working out with my billy blanks bootcamp dvd. Ouch It is effective. I hurt all over. I am going to clean the back yard, and wait for the appraiser. We're hoping to get an equity loan to fix this place up a little bit The floors are falling through. We knew what we were getting into when we bought it though. 2. Do you have any exciting plans for this spring or summer, since your weight loss? If so, what? YES. We are going to Georgia because my son joined the army national Guard. We will be giong to his family day, then to Disney world, and then to visit my sister in Florida. I think this is in July Not sure yet, The military will let us know. In August or September we will go back to Georiga for his graduation from boot camp. I have never been to florida and am looking forward to seeing my sister and neice and nephew's. 3. Do you have any disappointments in your WLS? None. I was going to say only that I didn't have it done sooner, but It's all in Gods time, I am glad I had it when I did. I have met so many people, and our support group is active. We do lots of stuff together. I don't think this would have happened 10 to 20 years ago. I am happy, and smile most all the time 4. Are you able to eat anything you want? If not, what? No. There are lot's of thing's I cant eat anymore. Some things like meat, I just can't tolerate. Other things like Pasta and starches, I don't need to try. As far as sugar goes, I don't even want to know. I was addicted to sweet's. As far as I'm concerened, If I eat sweet's I will be very sick, and I don't want that. Someone did give me a sugar free candy bar the other day. I ate about 2/3 of it then threw it away, I've been craving sweets ever since. I won't eat them anymore even if they are s.f. I don't want or need thoese cravings. 5. Do you have a prayer request for today that we can all lift up with you to the Lord? That my son's would return to serving the Lord the way they used to. God bless you, Annette

Hey Cindy. I am fairly new to this board but I wanted to chime in today. I read every inch of your profile before my surgery last week. You are very inspiring and I love your new picture you posted. Congratulations on your successes! 1. What are you planning on doing today? I am taking it easy today. Still one week post op. I do have 2 loads of laundry to fold. And when hubby comes home we will walk for a bit outside providing the weather holds out (not to mention me - I'm still tire very easily after just a few minutes of walking). 2. Do you have any exciting plans for this spring or summer, since your weight loss? If so, what? Not exactly. I hope to be able to attend my 20 year high school reunion looking normal. That would be so exciting. 3. Do you have any disappointments in your WLS? Not yet. I didn't lose anything the first week and I was a bit disappointed but when I got on the scales last night it certainly did catch up quickly (-10 lbs). WOW 4. Are you able to eat anything you want? If not, what? Unfortunately, or fortunately as the case may be, I can only have pureed foods right now. Seeing as I don't have any appetite it's fine but I'm getting tired of soups and I have found that I abhor the taste of protein shakes so that has been a challenge for me. PTL for Isopure. 5. Do you have a prayer request for today that we can all lift up with you to the Lord? My sweet hubby is a wonderful God loving man who is having some major stress at work. He wants to stay true to himself and his Savior in an environment where most people don't consider right from wrong. He seems to be constantly going against the grain in striving to keeping his integrity and beliefs intact. Thank you for your prayers. I am so blessed to have found this board. Thank you for welcoming me here. Jean

Cindy, Glad you came on and did the roll call! Your picture is lovely, you are doing so fantastic! 1. Today I am at work. Later on I will go by the stable north of town here and see our new colt. He is so cute and soft but already running and playing. 2. This summer I will keep one set of my grandkids for a week and then meet my son's families down in South Texas at a place we really enjoy going to. Steve and I will go to the mountains for our anniversary in August (Lord willing ) I, too, hope to be lots more active in my yard and we are going to have a small garden. 3. No, I am so thankful I had surgery. My loss is slower than most but its still going down and I feel confident of making my goal. I feel great and my labs at 3 months out were perfect. 4. I can eat just about anything I want but in smaller portions. Too much sweet makes me feel sort of yukky and I avoid that sort of thing. 5. I interviewed for another position here where I work. It wouldn't even be a pay increase but I think it would be a neat job. Its a new position and just now being opened up so there would be the challenge in setting it up. I would have to go off for training (which is kind of hard to do since I have animals to feed daily) anyway. appreciate you prayers. The Lord knows if this would be best for me or not. Everyone have a blessed day!

Good afternoon Cindy! I too haven't been here lately since I've been very busy at work, but I'll try my best to come here more often in the evenings. I miss everyone here and I'm praying for US all! 1. Well today has been a busy one for me. My plan was to run some errands and go in to work at around noon time but I found more errands to run so I called my boss to let him know I was taking the rest of the day off. He was ok with it so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment to go see my obgyn at 2:30pm (2 hours from now). I got home about an hour ago and just finished cleaning house!!! hooray!! it feels good to have a weekday off, run some errands, clean house plus have time to go see my gynecologist. I really want them to do some blood work and make sure everything is A O K with me! 2. exciting plans?? yes, I do! For spring and summer we plan to go fishing every other weekend. Also, my boyfriend and I will be driving to NC to visit his brother in mid July. 3. I have no WLS regrets whatsoever! 4. I'm now 1 year and 7 months post op and can eat "almost" anything. 5. Prayer request? For my boyfriend and I to find a good church where we can become members. Tonight we are visiting a church a friend of mine invited me too and I'm praying for this to be the one. I love you all and od bless you, Letty 335/172.6/where ever the Lord takes me!

Hey Cindy and all! It is great to see all of you today. It's been while since I've seen a few of you! 1. What are you planning on doing today? Go back to work (I'm home for lunch), then pick up the kids and start the nightly routine. 2. Do you have any exciting plans for this spring or summer, since your weight loss? If so, what? nothing concrete. I do want to take the kids to Schlitterbahn water park here in Texas. This is not necessarily due to WLS though. I promised myself that me being embarassed about being in a bathing suit would not keep my kids from getting to do fun water activities. So, I have had plenty of embarassing moments in a bathing suit. 3. Do you have any disappointments in your WLS? none! 4. Are you able to eat anything you want? If not, what? I can eat a lot of really delicious foods. I really have to watch my carbs and sugars though. They make me dump! 5. Do you have a prayer request for today that we can all lift up with you to the Lord? Hmm... where do I start? My husband and my marriage could use some prayers. Also, please pray that I find some way to get my house cleaned. It is totally out of control. CPS would take my kids away. It is so hard because I feel like I never have time. I work three jobs and then I have the responsibility of getting the kids here and there (school, therapy, activities, etc.) When I am at home, there is so much to do with the kids or I am just too tired. I am totally overwhelmed in this area. Well, thanks for listening gang! Love, Jacinda
