all of the above everyone else has mentioned LOL!

My biggest weakness lately has been Lays Sour Cream and Onion potato chips

so I've stopped buying them...it's the only way I can control them....I tried to limit my intake 'n such but nope...I just can't have 'em in the house if I am serious about dropping about another 20 pounds

Fresh fruit high on the glycemic index like oranges, bananas, pineapples, peaches, etc.  I love fruit, but I abstain from everything but strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.

Sweet potato casserole, Southern Style, with the brown sugar glaze and marshmallows on top.

Regular glazed donuts.

Cheesecake.

I don't indulge in these but once in a very great while.  But I swear, they call my name EVERY DAY.  The mental torture is equally bad, lol.

Like HeyJules, Reese's cups, Twix, Dove chocolate.  These are the things that get me in trouble.  Also, really heavy dense cakes, like pound cake (I have a killer chocolate pound cake recipe) call to me.

I find that I can abstain from most carbs easily when it's not the week before my period.  It's absolutely ridiculous during that week!!

Potatoes are not a killer for me, and Dreamfield's works for me on the rare occasion when I want pasta.  I don't like sugar candy with no chocolate attached (except for Swedish Fish.  I will eat the hell out of those) like Jelly beans or gummy bears, so I'm not tempted there.  Cheesecake counts as protein for me.

I'm about to go on a carb detox, though, as I put on a couple of pounds being snowed in and eating rather too well and too often!  Wish me luck!

I'll join you on the carb detox. I shouldn't be eating any carbs right now.

You're on the right track, but chocolate is clearly a VEGETABLE, as beans are vegetables.
