1 Yr Surgiversary!! w/ pics!

 
Wow!  I can hardly believe it's my turn to post about my 1 yr surgiversary!!

This past year has FLOWN by!  

So thankful for my DS.  I'm healthier and happier than I have been in years!!  No more high blood pressure, no more sleep apnea.... no more worrying the 'other shoe' is going to drop!!  My future is full of hope!!

Feel great - get in my protein (150+g/day) and fluids, take my vitamins religiously.....and eat well.  :-)

Thought I was 'done' with losing - last night 'celebrated' by eating a huge piece of chocolate cake with cream cheese icing, drank a diet Orange Crush (I 'never' drink sodas anymore!!), then dropped another 3 lbs!  LOL!  As of this morning I am 5 lbs under goal @ 135 lbs.  My BMI is 23.3!
 
Reached 'normal' BMI at 9 1/2 mos - reached goal at 10 1/2 mos!!  :-)

I wear a size 3/4 pants and medium shirt.  Still look at my pants every time before I put them on and think, "there is no way I can get into those!".  LOL!  

Yesterday I pulled down my jeans without unbuttoning/unzipping them (was in a hurry to pee LOL!).....realized it when I pulled them back up.  Oh well....   Might be getting smaller jeans soon.  Mind-boggling!!

Love these posts....and thought I'd have more interesting things to say, but seem to be at a loss for words!!  

Thanks to all of you who have guided and supported me during my journey!!  I'd be lost without you!!!
