Completely normal.  If the DSFACTS site was up, I would tell you to go read the stall section as it explains the first stall really, really well.  In essence, your body is just realizing that the lower intake of food is not just a temporary thing and it's trying to figure out what to do next.  Just keep drinking your water and eating your protein and walking.  You haven't done anything wrong.  It's part of the process.

Cheers and congratulations on your DS.

Same thing happened to me. Being a conversion,I didn't expect the 3 week stall again, but. Yep happened.
It ended a few weeks later but I have found out that I MUST stay away from most carbs or I will stall.

Gl,

What do you mean "I have found out that I MUST stay away from most carbs or I will stall"?  Tell me your secret :-)

I have stalled at this current weight (which I have not seen since 2005, so I'm grateful) for about 2 months now.  I'm looking for a different strategy to try.  Do you go zero carbs?

Yup I hit mine at three weeks and it lasted two weeks. Your body is playing catch up.

Same thing for me. I'm at 3 weeks and haven't lost anything since last week. I did a search on here for "stall after two weeks" and came up with lots of people experiencing the same thing. Give it another week or two. :)

Thank you Amy! Our weight is almost exactly the same so we'll have to stay in touch and keep each other updated with our weight loss! we started at the same weight!

I bet you I have more to lose since I'm so short! Hehe

I have to get down to 119 in order to get under a 25 BMI. What's your goal weight?

I'm only 4'10. At 119, my BMI would be 24.9. But when I weighed 135 about 10 years ago, I was in a size 8 and looking great. I'll also reevaluate as I get closer.

You WILL get there! Take it one day at a time. :)

I hit the 3 week stall, too.  But from what I've read here and elsewhere, it happens to everyone!  I'd say, more important than protein right now, is fluid intake.  The scale will begin to move again, and you will be amazed....
