DS Group Metting on April 11th at Bellevue WA

August 2014 - DS @ Mexicali Bariatric Center / Ungson.
It took me one and a half years to lose 165 pounds.
Weight: High=314, Goal=155, Current=131
They used to meet at the Tukwila Sizzler but got kicked out seven months ago because they were not getting the numbers Sizzlers required. They've been taking a break since then, and now this is the first time for Bellevue which I think was picked because I did the research and live near here. :-) I only attended one meeting and it was just after my surgery and I found it extremely useful.
I think the decision of if we should continue in Bellevue or look elsewhere will be made by the people that show up. Personally, I don't care that much. It's only once a month and if it forces me to explore more of the Seattle area, so be it. I think there is a big controversy over meeting in a place that serves food or not.
They were a really friendly group. I suggest even if you don't go to the meeting, joining the meet-up group.
