Just my experience- pain amount after DS

I was very lucky with (seriously) no pain after my DS. It was so much easier than my VSG which I had a few years before the DS. The VSG was painful for weeks. But the Ds second stage, was honestly the easiest surgery I have ever had. And I have had several surgeries not involved with digestive. Dr. Gagner from Montreal did my DS. Good surgery experience, but NOT SO GOOD results...I gained weight after and never lost a pound..my own fault so please do not blame the surgeon or the surgery, blame me.

If you don't lose weight after a DS, something went wrong. It's geared toward substantial weight loss quickly so you and your surgeon should have a heart to heart and see what's not working.

Perhaps meet with Dr. Keshishian in California and have him review your case.
