MY BMI WAS 35,  AND DS WAS MY ONLY WLS OPTION, THE OTHER WERE NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE ANATOMICALLY,  FORTUNATELY,  ONLY TWO SURGEONS WERE  WILLING TO CARE FOR ME, DR GAGNER AND DR ANTONE.  DR ANTONE TOOK EXCEPTIONAL CARE AND MADE THIS A VIRTUALLY PAINLESS EXPERIENCE.

if Dr G is ok with this process, you can be sure it ok.  He overulled evry nyc ds surgeon on how to care for me. I stuck with his plan, and it worked perfectly, not like so many who come her for revisions.

DR ANTHONE DOES THE revision and all his surgeries open,  and he doesn't undo the Fundy, i have all the benefits of the Fundy and the ds.  total comfort.  this is the same as what Dr gagner also prescribed,  in 04 and i like you went through many surgeons who talked and walked liked simper , i refused , until i was able to have Dr Anthone care for me.
 no complications, and surgery only took 45 mins.

no indication of a biopsy being done on my  removed stomach, it was not removed for disease or symptom so a biopsy was not indicated.  that was done during the edo and pyloric exam pre op.

hows your night vision?

OLDER, THAN DIRT YOU ASK, I was 61, it was a brief intermission from retirement and skiing to get my ds.  didn't interfere with anything. not even eating except for a month,  and taking 4 diabetic meds.   

havent vomited since 95 when i had my fundi done, spit up some fomies a few times after my ds durring the month post op after my ds last year , but no big deal.
