I weighed 290 when I came home from the hospital and I now weigh 262 , and it's only been 1 month. I bet you are nervous about the upcoming surgery, but you will do fine. I have done great so far. I'm new to this forum and would like to find a few people that are in my area and are pre-op so we can share our experiences with.
I'm still in the early insurance approval stages. Still gathering all of my "recomendations" from my providers.
I'm hoping to have surgery sometime in August. I had LapBand back in 2008 and had it removed in 2010 from complications.
So please let me know if you want to be penpals!

Hi Samonie. My name is Lynne and I also live in CT. I am presurgery. Are you pre or post? I am getting close to the time to have surgery and I am getting really nervous. My biggest fear is that I will fail. I am also looking for pen pals.

I am almost ready to have surgery. I just have two more things to do. I am loosing confidence in my ability to do this. Also, I am confused about what we have to do after surgery. I am looking for a pen pal who has already had the surgery to encourage me and to help me stay strong. I really need to do this for my health. Also, I wouldn't mind being pretty again like I used to be.

I am in the Cincinnati , area, I live in West harrison,,,,, about 20 min from you!! I have just begun my journey and really could use some help,,,, I will be finding out my surgery date this week.
