Checking in

It’s been 10 months since I had my surgery and I have lose 77pds, Loving my VSG…now they say with weight lost come problems didn’t understand what that was all about until I lost the weight and problems in the relationship started was being told I was losing to much, complains about how I look started. Just maybe she were being jealous instead of being supportive because I am no longer the fat one in the relationship…so 3 days before news years day I decided to separate from my partner of 5 years , and dam it I been happy ever since we are still friends but that’s all. I have to do what makes me happy can’t let the negative comments get me down.

It's amazing how people you thought would support you the most end up being your biggest critic. You are doing great, keep rocking your sleeve and enjoying a healthier and happier you!!!!

I seen some relationship break apart after WLS.  I know they say they support you but at time I think they do not.

Glad to hear you are doing well. Sorry about the relationship.  It happens sometimes and it sucks.  You have a great attitude and you will find someone who appreciates you in time.
