Michele, I think everyone has about covered what might be available. Whatever you do, don't go for any of those envelope stuffing scams. Don't buy any type of list to get you started in anything. Oh, Mystery Shopper stuff sounds good, but in five years on four differnt lists that made me about $25 and I have items I would never have bought in the first place. If it sounds too good to be true...It is! (not probably either.) Good Luck! Denise

Michele, I work out of my home and make about $500 a week. I went thru thousands of work at home "schemes" and was very relieved to find this legitamite business. If you would like info, please feel free to email me. Lisa

Hi Michele and All: When we adopted our now 14 year old son from a Romanian orphanage at the age of 4 and it became clear that he many emotional problems from the early years of neglect and abuse, I had to find a way to work from home. I had been a legal secretary for years and started out on the web as a Virtual Assistant doing typing jobs for people across the country. I then learned through the years to build websites and how to get good ranking in the search engines and now run a profitable web design business. I also go to yard sales and Goodwill and find collectibles and china at extremely low prices - just got a set of Noritake dishes for 6.99 today - and sell it all on eBay. It has been hard but worth it to be home with my boys - we adopted another child in 2001 who is now 5. Nancy G.

Nancy! That sounds exactly what I'm looking for! Virtual Assistant...typing job/data entry. I'm also interested in Web Design....I'm thinking of taking courses in this field. I'm very interested in how you got started in becoming a Virtual Assistant. Any helpful information would be very much appreciated. Thanks for responding to my post. I'm trying to get started working from home because we're planning on having a baby (Once I've reached my goal weight). My DH wouldn't mind me staying at home with the baby and him being the sole provider but I want to contribute something and not have all of the financial burden thrust upon him. Hopefully I'll be able to find something by the time this takes place. Thanks Again! ~Michele~
