I have severe lymphedema in both legs- so much so, I am on disability. I had my rny on July 9th...My legs have gotten so much smaller since then. However, I had huge balls (the size of small watermelons above my knees). Well, the "ball" on my right leg is soft to the touch and u can tell it is filled with fluid; the ball on the left leg is huuuuge and half is soft and wrinkly now, but the other half is hard...I will be going to my pcp on Oct 9th because it hurts to walk like this. My left leg is so heavy...I am scared it may be a tumor...has anyone else experienced this?

Hi, I have the lymph in my left leg and groin.  After a 200 lbs. weight loss those areas have gotten much smaller also.  No one but a specialist (PCP or your surgeon) will be able to determine if you have a tumor.  I often felt as if I had a tumor is different parts of my body but they weren't   I had a panni 4 years ago and swore that they would find a tumor.  No tumor just fat and fluid.  I know that I am not answering your questions but I my hope is that you might worry a little less until you get to see your PCP.  Ask your PCP if he can recommend a lymphodema therapist.  I saw one in the spring.  The committment is intense.   Good luck to you.   Please let me know how you make out. How did your appointment go yesterday?  I would seriously if you haven't see a therapist in your area to give you the proper treatments, this will help with the swelling.

  I've lost over 400 pounds!
I love helping others, if you have a question just ask!
