So far so good that you and your Mrs. have not developed symptoms. It's a wonky assed little virus when it comes to who gets it and the severity of the symptoms when they do.

Just a few days left in quarantine. Not looking forward to going back to work but will be glad to be able to do my own grocery shopping again. Been inside for a week and a half other than cutting the grass and a trip to Sam's for a no contact pickup so not that up on the weather, Hope all are well.

Don't recall it going too far up the Country music chart but remember playing it back in the radio station days of my yout'.

My daughter's senior year. Plans change at least once a week. Online, in school, hybrid. Not sure on sports yet, but the marching band is practicing in a modified practice.

Been in the upper 80's last week with no rain. Today mid 70's and some well needed rain. Tomatoes are doing well and producing. Just like Guy Clark sang "Home grown tomatoes. Only two things that money can't buy. That's true love and home grown tomatoes"

Google it, it's a catchy little ditty :-)

Good week to all

Locals schools bit by bit are starting back to school this week. Some in person, some distance learn and there is the hybrid option too. I have often been thankful I never had any kiddos. I sure am this year!

A phone call to Hell from Texas this past week would have been a local call! 103-105 with heat indexes 108-110. More "seasonal", mid-90's, this week. Had to start running sprinklers to keep soil closest to house moist to keep slab from doing wonky crap like cracking. Not mowing all the yard this week just inside the fence where it's being watered.

Have a Great Week, Gentlemen!!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Hope your daughter only has a mild case. I am so ready for this virus to make like a fart in the wind and disappear.

Youngest Daughter's test came back positive so the whole house is quarantined. Ordering groceries online sucks. Spent way more time and had much more stress having the groceries delivered than the usual hour or so of shopping on Friday. Daughter is doing okay and wife and I tested negative so not doing too bad. Hope all are well.

When it rains - it pours and I'm not talking Morton Salt!

Don, it may be your daughter that is "hot" but here it is my Mrs! Trip to FL was scratched again TFN! She has had the pinpoint headaches and fatigued but no fever. She is still at home but doing a little client work. Her office is still closed to clients but different ones are in and out picking up and dropping off work. Yes I've taken my 5th test and once again it was negative. Playing it safe around City Hall and staying in my "crate" and not interacting too much.

Saturday evening eating a piece of stick cheese when I felt something grating against my teeth. Spit cheese into my hand, palpated it and lo and behold it's an old metal crown that came off a tooth. Only gripe is there is a point on the tooth that my tongue keeps running across. Taking another day off tomorrow to go get it all fixed. Tooth is one Dentist and I had talked about either pulling or fixing it back and put new crown on it. Inclined to have it pulled and fix the other one that needs attention since this one is at the very back.

Lastly, DirecTV receiver/DVR laid down and died Friday afternoon. Allah be praised we were able to have technician here Saturday to replace it but that threw yard work to Sunday. Didn't realize that I did not have enough gas to fill mower. Did what I wanted to do and said "no mas" before getting anywhere near running out.

Fingers crossed it is a better week this week!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
