Tough week in Texas. Not just El Paso but locally as well. Empathy to Dayton, OH.
Storm door finally installed and legal to carry a gun for another year. Was in a low spot with no breeze, hot and humid. T-shirt I had on was soaked through and through. The Honey was very happy I took a bath before we went out to eat!

I figured since this is a men's forum, what the heck.
This week I dipped a hair under 160lbs which is my center of gravity for the past 2 years. After wls, when I hit 200lbs, everyone told me how great I looked. When I dipped under 170lbs, people started giving me farewell hugs and saying we'd meet again some day, "but not yet, not yet!" :)
Exercise has been fantastic, food is a disaster. I always get in vitamins and nutrition but for some reason still eat a lot of crap - mostly sweets. Some day I'll wise up on that.
Running a marathon definitely rates a "big ol' nasty stinky" on the FART scale!

Have been trying to be good this last week but really didn't think I did all that well. Going to try to keep moving over the vacation. Will be taking a mini excursion (drive down one afternoon, spend the night, then spend at a day at an amusement park, spend another night, then drive back the next morning) so will have to eat out for a couple days worth of meals which is always an adventure.
12% BMI and climbing the rope both in one week rates a "double nasty stinky" on the old FART scale! ![]()

As long as you're healthy, it's whatever weight you feel good about. Most of the health care providers shouldn't offer advice unless they've had the surgery. I find most of them to be very disconnected from the reality we all live with.
Hi everybody.
I got a Dexa scan last week. They said that I was about 189 of lean tissue and bone and that 211 puts me at about 12% body fat. The recommendation was that I stop consciously trying to lose and just focus on fitness level from here on in. I will check that with my Baritrician, but the advice seems to make sense. As you guys know, after a lifetime of constantly either losing or gaining, trying to stay the same seems scary.
I also climbed up the rope to the ceiling for the first time ever this week. Fat kids revenge.
I will be on vacation next week, so likely unable to check in.
