Great losing weeks, Bob and Don Robbie. I managed to hold off Don Robbie for one more week, but he's in my rear view mirror for sure.
We are made some good progress on the project that I was working on to refinish the old doors from our house onto our screened porch thanks to some real and very welcome help from my two teenage sons. I think that we will be all completed before this weekend because my wife is doing the painting this week.
We are headed up to Alpine Valley Wisconsin for Jimmy Buffet next weekend so I would like to have the doors all completed before we leave. Friday I am getting a Dexa Scan. I am interested to see what it says

Ordered some new shorts that should be arriving this week. Hate to spend the money on nice ones but I'm going slow enough now they should last me the summer. Plus they are 4 different designs so hopefully I can figure out out what I like even if I have to reorder in a different size next summer. I've almost never worn shorts since I got heavy (which was about 16) so I'm experimenting a little.
Wife was somewhat upset because I can fit in her pants now. Wore a pair of her old work jeans for shopping Friday. She bought some cheap men's jeans and long sleeve shirts a few months ago to wear to her job until her uniforms came in. I've been able to get the jeans on for a few weeks but they finally were comfortable enough to wear out. I already stole one of the long sleeve shirts for PJs.
Going to have to get used to carrying around a jacket. We went to Texas Roadhouse last night and I froze my butt off.

Weather has been great last week or so. Moved a yard of mulch in the upper 80 degree heat. Kept well hydrated and still managed to lose a few lbs. Hopefully back in the pool later this afternoon, after we attend an engagement party for my niece. What the hell is an engagement party?
Got a new AC and furnace last week. Replaced 30 yr old AC unit that way dying, furnace was only 15 yrs old, but had a few issues. AC hasn't seen a day off yet.
Now off to get a few things done before the engagement party. :-)

Be better with more walking this week. Every afternoon last week was shot to **** Roofer, dentist and getting venue for wedding. Mangaged to Monday and some on Friday with yard work yesterday. Thanks to Barry farting around Louisiana we had a northerly wind yesterday. You get wind out of the North in July in Texas you drop an extra $20 in the collection plate on Sunday! Very nice for working outside.
Have a new fly in the ointment. Local restaurant is now on it's fourth occupant in last three or four years. This one will be there for awhile! Experienced people. Food is good, served buffet style and they have a seafood buffet on weekends. I know these people from the location they had in another town I worked in 15 years ago! Ate there many, many, many times both on and off the clock. Friday the co-owner/wife said she recogonized my name but not me. Then the light above her head came on and she said "You used to be fat!" Told her about having WLS and there was no way I could ever hurt them again on the buffet. For the record I was working on a naked burger patty and fries, left the majority of those, while speaking to her. Only ding I'll give them is needing larger "to go" cups.
Bills to pay and errands to run.

As usual it rained in Illinois as soon as the fourth approached. Then I went to a wedding in upstate NY - and it rained there on Saturday. Did get 18 holes in before the downpour started. As soon as it was time to go back home and to work the weather was beautiful yesterday and today. Probably raining again by the weekend.
I've been trying to refinish the doors leading to our screen porch. 70 years of paint one layer at a time. Coat, scrape, sand, repeat. And then it starts raining and I have to stop working and bring everything inside.
Not a bad week weight wise for being away.

Yeah, it's a straight line down the first 6 months or so, then a lot more zig zag but still trends down eventually.

Seem to be stalled again. Was under 210 (208.6) Tuesday. Used to be I held steady during the week and dropped during the weekend, now that pattern isn't holding. I seem to now be bouncing around in a range for several weeks then drop for a week or two then repeat the cycle.
