Wife got a new puppy. He's about 8 weeks old and is half Yorkie, half Jack Russell terrier or unknown sneaky dog. He's a handful right now.
Been doing 60+ hours a week at work which together with the aftereffects of Covid has made things a bit of a grind. Our latest new guy hasn't quit yet so that's good. Our oldest hand is talking about moving on to a less physical job (he has an open invite to really good gig) which I can't blame him, slinging 6-8 tons of groceries a day beats you down. He can outwork 2 other guys so it'll be a loss for the company but I think it might be right for him.
Did reasonably well cutting back on carbs last week, still need to do better but I'll take an improvement.

Looking at last week and saw a typo. Wish I wa****ting 180 again!
Our little City Hall is moving to new digs a block to the North of our current location. Current location and the four dilapidated buildings closest to it are meeting a track loader and coming down. Means we have to be out but August 15th. Current location is an old bank building built in 1930. Guess who was tasked with getting the two vault doors and two ball coin safes auctioned off by then? While I'm at it likely to thrown in some other crap we need to rehome too. Hoping to be able to move file cabinets as is but afraid they will have to be emptied first. Going to be a pain in the ass. Remodeling is not finished on where we are going yet either. City Hall itself will get two suites in the strip center and we'll have one. Going to be a pain in the ass.
Speaking of which have to work on a downspout and the French drain it empties into.
Have a Great Week, ye bearers of the prostate! ![]()
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
I track my weight daily an have been carrying a few extra pounds vs a year ago. I'll have to think about trying to maintain a specific weight. Normally I don't worry about it.

Did our biweekly grocery shopping expedition (shopping for 5 adults is a bit of a project) and cut the grass this weekend. Didn't get much else done. You'd never know it from the scale but have had some "tiny tummy" episodes this week where I could not eat very much. Haven't had that too often since early postop.

Mowed some grass and trimmed a bunch of trees this weekend (bad thing about Indiana is our weeds have trunks). Been working lots of hours and that's probably not going to change anytime soon. We're losing several people from an already undersized staff in the next couple weeks.

Big week this past week. Wife got home from FL!
Mississippi State won the College World Series!
I found a compact 1911 I can carry more discretely off duty. Irony is I bought it from the widow of a former Chief that I had that was a ***** Soon as I put my hands on it I knew it was coming home with me. She showed me the 4" S&W .357 revolver he carried in Houston. Felt liked it was honed down to a two pound trigger pull.
Exercise good. Rain yesterday so yardwork today if it holds off.
If you're working tomorrow - I'm right there with you.

Grad parties all weekend, and I didn't go up!
Getting a little exercise and stretching in because of Physical Therapy for my sciatica. It's a pain in the ass! (yes, both) :-)
Good week to all!
I ate like sh?t this week but it's pretty much the norm. Thank god for the wls and some exercise. I had a brief bout of unwellness which I think is a delayed side effect of the 2nd Covid shot.
Otherwise things are stressful but good.
