Please! Almanza or Betancourt Patients: No license, No Care?

 Hi everyone,

I've been studying and analysing as many threads as I could find to find out more about the licensing issue pertaining to Dr Betancourt and the spillover onto Dr Almanza. Given the care I received there, I've been trying to figure out whether or not it really matters that Dr Betancourt could be Mr Betancourt -- from a medical skills and knowledge perspective.

In the thread "Counterfeit License for Dr Betancourt", I concluded it did not and I stated the reasons why. But, all the information is not yet in.

If you are or were a patient of the Emmanuel Jerusalem Clinic:

What are your views on whether or not Dr B's licensing had an impact on the surgery and or after- care you received. Does it mean that No License = No Quality Care?

Thank you in advance.

I was so excited and relieved to come on the board today and not find any drama. I guess I came back one time too many. Here we go all over again....

 Hi Cristin,

Thanks for your feedback. But, I'm really looking for messages from people with personal experience regarding the issue at hand.

Be well,
Cheryl

Just don't click on the link. You can read what the thread is about. Don't click it. *shrugs* Easy choice.

Easy choice to click or not, you are right. That being said, the tittle of the thread tells it all. It was drama enough for me to get a bit irritated even before I clicked. I was relieved to see no drama on the board today until the last time I was on it and saw drama just scrolling through the tittles. Whether I had clicked or not I still encountered it on here today. That was my whole point. Look at the history of my posts/comments. I am pretty good at staying away form the drama...until now.

I am not trying to be rude to you but if you will notice the only "drama" part of this thread is when you tried to step in and make it so...the rest is polite conversation between adults.  Which, by the way, we have every right to have on here or otherwise.  I hope you understand what I'm saying because I really am not trying to offend you...just pointing out that were very wrong in how you treated the OP.  Thanks for listening.

 Hi Kimberly!

I've been meaning to tell you how much I appreciated this post. It was a very nice way to handle the situation.

Thanks very much for helping us keep this thread a "class act"!

All the best,
Cheryl

It would be nice to see threads such as this on the Rant and Rave board...

I come to this particular board for support and encouragement...(give and get...).

I know this is of particular concern to you, but like Cristin, I am tired of the drama....

Hi John,

Thanks for your post.

I'm not sure it's fair to well, sabotage my thread by saying it doesn't belong here.

I also don't think it's fair to assume that this is not about support for me and for others who have been directly impacted by this subject. It's a chance for us to reflect on what this all means and find support from like-minded individuals and get new ideas and perspectives from those who disagree.

The ironic thing is that by saying that one post belongs here and another does not; that one group of people should seek support but others should not, drama actually starts.

Sincerely,
Cheryl

If you read again, I said I wish posts like this were on R&R.

I apologize for having offended you....

I should really just skip posts like this for my own sanity...
