Hi, how are you feeling now? Wanted to ask you if you filled out the FMLA forms for the dr to sign and or if the dr filled out the portion for your surgery? Did you put done WLS or something else? I really dont want to state exactly what I am having to my employer but not sure what to write or if the doctor knows. Also did your employer ask why you were having surgery in Mexico instead of the states? I am thinking of saying because even though I have insurance it would still costs me more for my copay then in Mexico. What do you think? or what did you say? Thank you so much. Just doing some research.. had anyone used endobatiatric? ?

Wait times have dramatically decreased in Canada. The programs are designed to prepare you for the changes you will have to make in order for WLS to be successful. I am finding each appointment I have helpful and informative. Sometimes I wish I could have the surgery tomorrow but I know it will be here sooner than I think and I will be prepared.

I went through Mexico Baratric Center and it was so packed they had to reschedule my surgery for the following day, meaning less recovery time, and a plane ride home that was super painful. I also developed a leak, when they said my leak test looked perfect. I was with about 14 other women during my time there that was in process of having it done. I onlt have talked to 1 other girl and she turned out fine. Really think about if it's going to be worth it or not. If you have complications, the docotrs here won't touch you since it was done there and yu end up paying twice as much.
