thanks for the reply
After we see who is interested and here they live and what times are good for everybody. We can zero in on a place and time to hold our first few meeting to organize better.
My hours at my new job very but I will try to make them adjust to my schedule.
Miss you and hope we can get this happening soon!
Like start right after labor day!
I am always interested in meeting up with great people. Even though I don't live in your area, I am willing to travel because there aren't any groups around me. You have my info and here are some answers to your questions...
best time and day of week for you to meet - I prefer anytime between 10a-2pm weekdays
How often you would be willing to attend IE.. 1 x per week, bi-weekly, monthly. - Monthly
What you would like to contribute to the administrative (planning, records, activities topics of discussion, meeting agendas, news letters, presentations) - Activities and Topics
How much time you prefer a general meeting should last. Should we plan special trips and activities. - One hour w/ the opportunity to go longer if the discussion runs over
Would you be willing to contribute to administrative cost such as, printing information, refreshments, ? If so How much do you think would be reasonable/ do-able for you budget? - I can help with costs sometimes, but am on a limited income. I think maybe a sign up sheet for refreshments and maybe a rotation system for the printing of articles, etc. I don't think we will have a need for more than say 15 copies, and most of us can do that on our home printer.

Or other helpful ideas/suggestions you can bring to the meeting?

Please remember One person can not do all the organizing, If it is a group we all must take part in making what we want it to be!

Thanks Nan!!!! I think the recovery from this is going slower than my RNY recovery, if you can believe that. LOL.... But I am feeling much better. I have my follow up visit today too.

Thanks so much. I needed that little pep talk.... I will definitely keep everyone posted, I know it is not always WLS related, but I like to keep up and let my OH family know what is going on with me. I am on here everyday seeing what is going on with others and if I can help I try to.
I was actually scared last week when I went in that I had a twisted bowel or a hernia. Hadn't really thought of a twisted ovary on the right or my appendix. But once everyone on facebook said to go in, it was probably my appendix, then the light bulb went on... LOL... I am just glad I got in when I did. I am getting anxious for my appointment on Tuesday to find out what they say about that pelvic ultrasound. Keep your fingers crossed that it is nothing.

Seriously though...don't worry about the left ovary...let them take it if they need to. You'll still have the right one to work so you don't go into menapause too early. They took my left one when I had the hysterectomy and I seriously couldn't see a difference. Just now am I starting to feel some hot flashes...but they are subtle....and I'm going to be 51. Oh, and the bladder lift...I had a friend who had it and you'll be glad you did!!
Again, BEST of LUCK to you...keep me posted!
Woooo Hooooo!!!! Congrats... You have much to be proud of!!!! Keep on gloating!!!!
