Well we already malabsorb fats depending on the surgery but I am hoping to try these wraps soon.  What kind of results have you had Sandi??   You can e-mail me privately if you like.  I had RNY 14 years ago.  Certain areas need some firming.

That could be it, to. It takes a bit to get used to it, i know. just keep it up, and give it a little time. :)
Yeah, i know, I have the same problem. I've tried a lot of things, and suffered a lot of failures (I gained weight on jenny craig, following their meal plan. ..yeah.) my knees are messed up, and I need to take some of the pressure off of them, so..
Good luck honey, and I hope your body adjusts to the change in diet soon. :)

I have been eating chobanni 0% greek yogurt. I am drinking Slimfast shakes, and yeah today I am trying to drink more water... I still feel hungry, but not as bad. Maybe I  need time to adjust to not eating so much. I seem to become discouraged easily with weight loss, but I really need to lose the weight, my joints click and I can't do some simple things that I used to, and I feel awful.

What sort of snacks are you eating in between the shakes? Sometimes this can make a difference, if you're still having hunger pangs.  I've found- and this is just for me, personally- that snacks high in fiber or water content seem to stick with me longer, so to speak. Drinking a lot of water helps, to.
I.. don't know if that's helpful for you or not, I'm sorry. :(
What kind of weight loss shakes are you drinking?

I started drinking weight loss shakes 3 days ago now. Yesterday was hell though, my stomache was making all kinds of noises and I felt like I was starving!! I ended up overeating at dinner and feel incredibly guilty. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to curb the appetite? I am eating the snacks in between like they reccommend, but I really feel the need to eat- this makes me feel guilty too!! Please can anyone help?

Weight loss with or without the benefit of surgery is hard, especially years after surgery.  I can totally understand where you are at.  I am trying to help my bf lose 60lbs he regained that he had lost when I had wls back in 2005.  He relost 30lbs and now is off track once again because he is depressed.  I feel bad, I don't want to feed his depression but I also don't want to be a nag trying to get him to eat right.  He lost the 30lbs in a little over a month, he currently weighs 256 and I keep thinking there is something I can say or do. But I know there really isn't.  For me I had to give up the carbs and processed crap as it was making me so sick every day.  So I have no choice other then to be compliant even when I really don't want to be.

I wish you good luck and know that you can do it again and feel that satisfaction of making yourself healthy.

after checking out the forums on mfp, I'm going to print out a calendar for the month and plan out my meals for June. i'm going to add a 3 day juice fast once a month. I like that idea. I've done them before and three days is easily doable and refreshing!!!

I have changed my attitude about the dietitian. I'm still not going to see them because you knwo what, it's not about knowledge. I committed to one year with her last time and I'm going to school to be a dietitian AND i've seen her off and on several times in the past. I need to do this completely on my own with the knowledge I have and that way i will be able to always get myself back on track without help. plus when i did see her, she was more of my therapist and less of my dietitian because i already knew what to do. I had seen her for 3 years off and on prior to my one year commitment.

I have a renewed spirit with the lovely support I've gotten and with mfp website as well. I'm also watching a 400 lb lady do her weighloss journey on youtube and she's inspiring as well.

I actually for the first time in a LONG time, feel like I can do it!!!

THANK YOU!!!
