Welcome, Jess!
Looking forward to you joining our conversations. Comments, questions, observations...that really helps. We're not experts either...just support for each other with our ongoing battle with our weight. I am finishing up an amazing program at the Ottawa Civic hospital so I do have some tips from the behaviourist and dietitian. A big part of our group is the group itself. Talking with others about their struggles/challenges/successes makes the journey easier and more enjoyable.

Enjoy Curves this week! I've started walking at lunch with a friend and we do a 3km loop down along the Ottawa River behind the Parliament Buildings. We switch our route direction so we don't always have a big climb at the locks next to Chateau Laurier at the end.
We need to get a new blender as well. I'm waiting for the Ninja blender at Canadian Tire to go on sale. Our friends got it and love it (very powerful). It's also available at Bed Bath & Beyond...just need my discount coupon to come by email.
Good luck with mindful eating, Deb!
What are YOUR goals/plans for this week? We'd love to hear from you!

Good morning all, still hoping to see some new posters here. Sharing really does help!
Today (Sun) going to a Pow Wow riding our bikes there and bk = 1 hr
Mon, Wed & Fri hopefully get to curves all 3 days
Gotta get a new blender mine cracked this week after many years, need it for my breakie shakes. Still working on Volumetrics eating plan. Practice being mindful eater this week. Have a great week all!

I am really looking forward to meeting and chatting with you too. This is a great place to learn and get support. We would really like to see more posting. Just saying hi or asking questions. There must be more OHers looking for non surgical support and ideas. Looking forward to welcoming you, supporting you, and chatting!

Hi Everyone!
I notice we have about 20-30 views of our comments on Hump Day Weigh Ins but it's only me and Deb who are chatting/posting. GardeningGal didn't comment this week but she is recovering from her surgery (sending healing thoughts...and best wishes on your journey).
Don't be shy...come in and say hi. If you don't want to put in your weight and "put yourself out there", that's okay. I could not have done that a year ago. I was too embarrassed/ashamed/ surprised at the number I saw on the scale.
I'm looking forward to seeing/meeting more of you on here.

Ty for your encouragement and support Tammy. Your breakie shake has been a great help to me. I have one in am and one between 8:30 & 9 pm. I think the pm one is keeping me out of kitchen during the wee hrs of the am. It's working for me!

Excellent progress, Deb! You did really well this past week! And not just on the scale...you made three big changes in your routine (bike, Curves and eating during night). That's impressive.

I predict another good week for you!
Keep up the awesome work!

I had an SV this week after staying the same for weeks but I really had to shake up the food plan and added the curves and some biking.
