Agreed!  Phones can work as Wifi hotspots though... and they make super cool solar charging mats now.  Leave it in the sun for a day and it will charge your phone.  There are other solar options for a generator type approach and we would include that for the tiny house.  We just want to be off the grid. We are campers and backpackers here so the no running water is not an issue.  But who knows, maybe by the time we want to buld our tiny house that will be a priority given we will be a little older and perhaps may not want to mess with things like that.

It was one of the Royals and the loudest voice on the board advocating the Cirangle plan.  A Californian-  Don't judge too harshly though.  I do sincerely believe that his view of the Cirangle plan is firmly entrenched in his belief that this is what will get the majority of people to goal- and consequently he posts accordingly in an effort to help others to see the light so to speak.  And I do not discount the Cirangle plan, but it simply was a terrible fit for me and my needs.  I think the comments about the cancer and such crossed the line, but it felt like it was to discredit my approach towards weight loss and not directed at me personally per se.  Thing is, cancer is very personal- so I blocked him. No ill will, but no desire to peruse his posts either.

Prof,

I'm looking for a few new moves to surprise my husband.  Any suggestions?  I'll go ahead and say thanks from him in advance

I have been to Longwood House - I can't remember if I stayed there or not.  Natchez is a great town!  But while you're in the neighborhood, check out The Myrtles Plantation down the road in St. Francisville.  I toured it many years ago before it was famous based on someone I met in a bookstore in Natchez that told me to go.  Now it's a B&B, and famous for being one of the most haunted houses in America.

I went back and stayed the weekend there with some friends - I never saw a ghost, but there sure were a lot of weird things going on.  Like me telling my friends that the restaurant nearby must be having corn on the cob because I smelled "fresh shucked corn".  Nobody else smelled it, but dismissed it until later, when we took the official ghost tour and the guide said that some people smell "fresh shucked corn" on the grounds.

And the dresser drawers being opened and closed at night...or hearing someone move from room to room downstairs early morning when there was no one there...I never once felt scared or threatened in any way; just interested.

Lots of fur really does "add" size to a cat. Everyone always thinks Spike is much bigger than he is, then they pick him up. They're still surprised by his size, but realize he isn't as huge as he looks.

That's great. I should've tried to find something to calm my cats when we moved Oh well, I think we are settled and have no plans to move anytime soon, if ever.

Yeah, although Scotty had a lot of hair, he was thin, but tallest of the brood.

Grace is the only one still here, and yes, she goes with me to Minnesota - she's surprisingly content to do so (must be the Feliway spray)!

Huggers!

People I don't know who go in for the hug....or God forbid even worse - a kiss - and I am meeting them for the first time  ( well actually I get pissed if they do this up to the 10th time we meet=yeah I keep track)

This is especially horrid if its a business setting.....I keep my arm extended to shake hands- rigidly - and stop them from going in for the freaking kiss......
