Good for you on the knee replacement surgeries! I hope everything works out & that you have a speedy recovery.

Oh I so hate being cold! The layers of clothes made me feel like one of the Oompa Loompas from the chocolate factory. I couldn't wait to shed those clothes.

Halloween is the one thing I look forward to in the fall. Luv,luv, luv horror movies. Oh it's such a teaser to winter though. Winter is coming! (Game of Thrones reference) I think I'm gonna binge watch it this winter & dream of summer.

I used to hate summer when I was enormous because I was always dying of the heat and sweating like a pig! Now, I rather like it...cuz otherwise I'm cold all the time.

However, I'm looking forward to autumn, it's my favorite time of year! Crispness in the air, changing leaves, pumpkin spice stuff (yes, I'm one of them!), Halloween (LOVE!), and the coming of the holidays. Some of my favorite memories are of that first cup of camp coffee by the fire on a September morning, jackets on, with my family on camp outs when I was a kid.

I'm looking forward as well because the first week of September I get the first of my knee replacement surgeries! Carrying 200 extra pounds for 30 years destroyed my joints, and now I'm getting new ones. I'll finally be able to actually do the things my weight loss will now allow me to do!!

Well my 2 cents to the off topic forum is that I can't believe we're getting close to the end of summer! Holy **** Labor Day is coming up soon. Already it's getting darker sooner & finally we're in a preview of fall like temperatures, if you can call low 80's high 70's fall like. lol

So what are y'all looking forward to? Me, I got a couple of bike tours coming up that I'm way out of shape for, but I'm gonna bull my way thru them. Hopefully it won't rain. I hate riding in the rain. I already did that bs on the first tour this year & I so don't want to do it again!

Frankly I love summer, it's way too short & gray, cold, rainy days too long, way too long.
