I've been researching for a long time too! I mostly lurk, but I'm glad that there are helpful people on the forums.

Sweet! Bless you for the acknowledgement- that makes my fight totally worth it! Man, oh, man, I and some others have been a stand for a very long time for decent, thoughtful, compassionate support here!

Yup, same people, just the group was thankfully made private. I was (un)kindly and explicitly told I was the only person who would not be allowed to be a member. I consider that an honor.

Is the private group a continuation of the vile people from R & R? If so, you're right, the private group would not be for me. I've been trying to get this surgery a long time and I need support and most of the people from that group were not supportive. I did see that AnneGG and a few other angels that tried to be supportive and helpful and I thank the heavens and stars I see them on this forum.

The new private group is probably not for you... Just stay on moderated forums and be safe.

I have friends that LOVE them!!! They say it takes a little getting used to inserting and removing because you have to twist it a little, I think, but once you get the hang of it they say it's great!

I haven't tried it yet myself...perhaps one day. ;)

Doesn't exist anymore- there is a private group you can join.
