True. I was lumping all stores with the word "dollar" in their name into one category (Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, etc). Still, these stores are cheaper than other major retailers, which lead me to assume that they would be doing a booming business during the recession.

Family dollar isn't really a dollar store. Every thing in there is priced with even dollars like 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. not like dollar tree where everything is actually 1 dollar.
Don, I didn't say I didn't think it was racist. I said that by couching their protests in general terms to include all immigrants and by basing it on economic factions (most people coming to the UK come from the Euopean Union), the authorities cannot issue a blanket ban on marches.
every country has its redneck bigots.
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
Only reason I asked about the Neo Nazi types is because of having seen a TV news story about a resurgence of their ilk. Don't think their protesting under "limit immigration" is not racist or inciting racial hatred. That is what those folks are about. Especially toward Muslims.

As for comparing Obama to Hitler and saying the country has gone straight to hell because of one man... I remember the same things were said of Bush. (Probably both of them, but especially the last one.) I think it comes with the job. I don't believe it of either, yet it is funny to see one party get upset about saying something they have said themselves. All politicians are full of it.
Family Dollar isn't going out of business. They are closing a lot of their stores, however, and opening fewer new ones. Family Dollar - victim of improving economy or changing consumer attitudes?
