Devrom in Canada!

Now Mel and I were always under the impression you could not get Devrom unless you crossed the ditch, so sorry if we are posting useless info everyone already knew. One of the local pharmacies was not only able to get Devrom through a Canadian distributor, but it has a DIN number and is covered under my drug plan! So my honey picked up 4 months worth for 35 cents!

Can you give us the din number please??? That is great news!!

From what I just read it's an OTC medication,have to get me some of that....lol they call it an internal deodorant. Debbie

So do you need a script to get it under your plan?  

Yes, Mel needed a script, but her PCP does anything she tells her too now. He wrote her a one year script right off the bat. She had just started colace and acidopholis last week too......she is all pilled up at this point!!! The DIN # is 00452696 and the distributer is Xenex Laboratories in Coquitlam, BC

And for those who self pay, the receipt says 22.00 for 100, which is about double the Devrom website, but only a few bucks more than here on OH

Which pharmacy did you get it at? We tried at Rexall in Val Caron but they couldn't get it.

DEVROM® is an internal deodorant. It is an OTC (over-the-counter) medicine taken orally to eliminate odor from flatulence and stool. It is FDA approved and recommended by doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals. DEVROM® helps people regain their dignity from embarrassing and sometimes debilitating odor. Chewable tablet for internal odor control, is effective and safe. 200mg. of bismuth subgallate powder, anti-diarrheal. 100/bottle.

It's an "internal deodorizer" and considered my many DS'ers to be their best friend! Makes the smelly farts go away!  We got it at the Guardian Pharmacy in the Donovan, Shaw Pharmacy, but  now that we have the distributer and DIN number, we are going to get our regular pharmacist in Azilda to get it.
