Has anyone had surgery with Dr Elliot Goodman

Hi there, I have a question, has anyone had surgery with Dr. Elliot Goodman? Reason I am asking is when I started to search for WLS I must have been on his websit and fill out something. Well, yesterday he personally called me to discuss WLS and he even emailed me the OHIP form.  I was so surprised by this, that he would personally call me himself to discuss WLS.  I can't find much infomation on him and if someone has had surgery with him can you let me know how it was and what your thoughts are on him that would be great. I already have an appointment for a consult with another Dr, although I just want to explore all my options before hand. I thank-you, for your time. Take care, Sandy

I have not heard very good things about this Dr. I think he is the same Dr that lost two Ontario Patients last year and thats not very good. Good luck, D

Yes he did have two Ontario patients that died within a few weeks of each other but in all fairness to him I don't know if they had very high BMI's and other high risks.  I certainly feel it would be fair to ask him about this if you do decide on consult with him.  Who is the other surgeon you are thinking of?
