The adtkins shakes can be found at walmart.   You will only need about 8 of them or less.  Chocolate is the best ;)

I'm curious.... why do you say that we'll only need 8 or less?  I just got them at Walmart a couple of days ago to try them out before surgery.  They're a great balance of protein and low sugar for us aren't they?  But I expect to need more than 8 post surgery.

Not sure if you're with Dr. Graber/Fitzer, but if you have your green sheet it will tell you how long and how often to have them.   For the first week you are only sipping 2 ounces 3x day.   The second week you drink 4 ounces 2-3 times a day.   On the information listed for week one it says you won't need a large supply as you're only on them for two weeks.   I bought 12 and only used 8 of them, gave the rest away.  I got the same for my husband who had surgery just about two months ago and have 5 sitting here I've offered to someone.   It's just not something you will go through a lot of.  Good luck with your surgery.

Thanks Bonnie,  I'm with Dr. Pop at Barix.  Going for the consultation next week.  I'm sure he'll give me his own instructions but i can't see it being much different from this.  Can't wait to get the ball rolling!

I am unsure of Dr. Pops rules, but I'm sure someone will pipe in.   Good luck with your consult, it's always so exciting.
Port Hope eh?   I love doing the Port Hope fair.  We are down below in the soccer field.   I show goats there each year.

Goats!  Really?  I love goats!  What kind do you have?  I Used to live on a small hobby farm and we raised a few goats and chickens.  That was one of the nicest times in my life.  We had Sanans and Neubians.  Hope I have the spelling right on this.  I'm really a country girl at heart.  Goats have so much character.... they used to follow us on our walks through the fields, along with the dogs and cats.... it was quite a sight!  You must let me know next time you come here and I'll be sure to look for you.  Here's my pers. email just to be on the safe side:  [email protected]  I look forward to this.

Some of the Shopper's Drug Mart stores carry them.  Call first to see if it's in stock.

I originally bought them in the US, but have found that I much prefer the ones in Canada.  They are supposed to be the same flavour, but they honestly tasted different.  My favourite is the vanilla.  i wasn't a fan of the chocolate, but I'm also not a chocolate addict either.
