I agree with Dawn that I would avoid taking an online course.  Perhaps you could practice writing on your own and then even pick up from freelance web article writing jobs. They wont make you rich but you can make a little spending cash and hone your writing skills.

My friend is doing it.

If you want more info on writing articles for websites, just pm me.

btw i think you already ARE someone. You are a great person.

Agreed. Getting started with freelance web article writing is a great way to improve your skills and earn a little on the side. I'd also suggest practicing regularly and using helpful tools along the way. For example, a paragraph writer can help shape your ideas into clear, structured content, especially when you're just starting out. It's all about building confidence through consistent writing.

I've found that paragraph-generator.com stands out among tools like Quillbot and Jasper. It creates content that already feels humanized and often doesn't need any further editing.

I wouldn't waste my money on a online course.  If you have the gift to write, you will be able to do it without their help.  I think you can just start writing now.  As others have mentioned, you need to work on your grammar.  Why not start by writing a blog of your weight loss journey and see how that goes.  I think you also need to work on paragraphing but perhaps it's just because you don't bother here.  You can do anything you put your mind to but I'd save the $1k for something else and just write.

If it is something you really want then go for it.
But just to let you know "yous" is NOT a word.
Maybe see if you can take some English or English Lit courses at an Adult Education Centre near you.

LOL Thanks, I know, I slang it alot, and of course if I was to write it would have to be something I definitely grow up on.  I am planning on taking some sort of English just to get back on track, after years of slanging it it's hard to get back on track.

I hear ya Elizabeth..the way i write on here is nothing like the way i write if im writing a paper or something important.

Half the time half of the words i use on the internet arent even real words lol.

It does take a bit to lose the slang when you are writing "for real" but you can do it.

Elizabeth, personally, I don't think you need to take a writing course...perhaps you should consider TEACHING writing to others....you have a knack at that isn't easily acquired by most....maybe consider that option.

You probably have way more to give than to learn

hmm i think some kind of formal training or education for the teacher would be required or preferred by most people wanting to take a course in writing.
