What's your favourite fast/convenience food?

I was just reading a similar post on the DS board, we don't have the same restaurants up here.  So just wondering, what's you're fave food to order when you're on the go?

I would have said a 6" cold cut on whole wheat from Subway, but I think it's changed to the Whopper now that I can tolerate ground beef again.  I'm going to eat another one today!

I still have loads of restriction so I'm sort of limited and Subway/Quiznos are things I would love to eat but they have WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much bread.

So most of the time, I have:

Cheeseburger at McD's (only the bottom bun)
Chicken snack wrap at McD's
The new boneless wings from Wendy's (which feeds me 2-3 meals)

You should be able to have wraps by now? Subway sells wraps. :)

My nut said Subway was ok when I went for my one month.. but I'm with you.. there's too much bread. I often pick off the toppings and I still don't agree with lettuce and no longer like the taste of green peppers.

I LOVE fajitas from McDonald's.. they're basically chicken, onion and cheese on a small wrap.

If I have to go to Subway I try to mimic the McD's one... less filler.. more protein.

Hey Jennie, ask the sub guys to "scoop " out your bread (basically just leaving the shell)- it cuts down on the bulk, but the crust adds to the sub.

subway will make any of their subs into a salad, so that's what i usually do. eat as much of the protein as i can, a few bites of the veg, and i'm golden :)

i also like swiss chalet a whole lot. quarter dark with a garden salad.

I was at Subway yesterday with my family - their choice.  I have avoided this one since surgery.  I ordered the 2$ meatball sub (figuring if I wasted most of it - it was only $2 so I wouldn't feel to bad).  Asked for a fork.

I was able to eat all 4 meat balls!  Nothing else - threw out the bun. 

I also went to Wendy's yesterday (US shopping trip).  I ordered him the double cheese burger combo and I ate one of the patties.

Did White Castle once - OMG that was vile.

My favourite "fast" food is a thai place here called Ben Than.  They do your "to go" meal in under 10min.  Yellow curry chicken with bamboo shoots.  Does about 5 meals for me for $9.

Can you tell I'm really too cheap to eat out?

LMAO I am still drooling, I am sure my  next nightmare will be the shark with the giant lips with a whopping in his mouth with my fingers holding it lmao.  Sigh.   Can I smell her whopper do you think before she eats it?  Or would that be rude?  LOL If I offer my husband certain sex acts  he might let me smell his whopper before he eats it {LMAO Not that Whopper sheesh the Burger King Whopper}
