On Sunday, Jude and I did a little cross border shopping.  We stopped at Costco, and I got a bag of these things called "Naked Nuggets".  They are frozen chicken nuggets - no breading and baked, not fried.

Here's what they look like:

Can you use your Costco card from Canada? My kid would totally flip over these!

Actually, I am pretty sure I saw these at the one in Wndsor, so theymust be in other Candian Costcos. And, yes, you CAN use your card across the border.

Those look awesome! And I'd love to be able to serve those to my kids - no need for them to eat the batter and crap too. (I will say they look familiar to the chicken breasts that you get at M & M just cut up... Hmmm...)

Hell - no.  My kids don't get to enjoy my imported food!  MINE!! LOL

They are thin - not thicker like a chicken breast.  Pre-cooked too - so its a 5 min warm up.  I had them with plum sauce (like a real nugget) but I'm thinking they'd be great in a protein tortilla wrap, or over a bit of salad...

I just used regular VH plum sauce - it doesn't have too many cals for 2 teas or so.  It does have sugar though.  As an alternate - you could use SF BBQ sauce, mustard or tzasiki.
