Slimming/Smoothing Undergarments?

I know that this has been asked before, but here it goes again....

What do you recommend for a smoothing/slimming camisole/underwear?

I remember someone saying Flexees were good and sold at Costco.  I checked the last time I was in Montreal and they only had the panties.  I was trying to remember if people recommended the camisole that goes under the boobs, or the one that goes over?  Also do you recommend the panties,
boy shorts or longer ones?

Last but not least, how do you pick a size?  I'm probably going to order them online, but I can't see a sizing chart.  (FYI, I am roughly 198, 5'7.5" and would rather get a little too small then too big at this point).

I have not bought one at a smaller size yet so I don't really have a suggestion as to where to buy one but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ones I used to buy at Addition-Elle. I was about 185 and 5'3" at the time (a few years ago) and bought the size x.  The went from the just above the knee right up to under your boobies!!  I loved them for under dresses and well, pretty much anything.  They really shaped and sucked in my torso, smoothed out the back flab, and then sucked in all the hip and leg stuff  that can look bulgy under dresses or skirts.....

I love body shapers.  I mean I hate them...i honestly do cuz I really do feel like I am wearing a straightjacket.....  But I love them when I need a little help looking great under certain clothes!

Thanks Karla!  I'm hoping to get a two piece, I can't imagine trying to peel it down every couple of hours!

I bought the flexees camisol at Costco - in the US.  I haven't seen the camisol in canada.  It ROCKS.  No crotch to worry about...but it goes right down to below your hips.

I am 5'8' and 190 - I'm wearing a Large.  It says size 12-14 (right about where I am).  I could probably almost squeeze into a medium now though..I've been wearing those for about the last 25lbs.

Hope that helps!

It doesn't go under your boobs (that just looks too weird), it goes over.  The over-boobs part is not as stretchy - so it doesn't "squash" the girls. ;0)

I can see that the underboob one might be good for lower tops...sometimes with a v-neck the very top of the camisol shows...

You are so right...the peeling down can be a pain in the ass BUT it also comes with a pee flap so no peeling necessary!!!
