Glad to hear that you are doing ok. Have been thinking of you and womdering how things were going. What  a great feeling you get  when you can do something that you could not do before. Those feelings will happen more and more to you as the weight comes off. Thake care

Thanks for thinking of me, Barb.  I've also been wondering how you're doing?  Is your pain any better?

I wish I could say yes but not. I was at the hospital Monday night they gave me morphine and other drugs to settle my stomach down. They had me back today and of course you get another doc and this one was crap. They know it is the gallbladder and they know it needs to come out but I just can not seem to get the dam think out. I am pretty upset tonight. I can no longer eat or drink without feeling sick and haveing real bad pain. I have no idea what to do. I can not even drink without feeling sick and hurting. I just need to hope they get me in soon or they will have one sick girl. I bought some meal replacements tonight i know i need to get something into me. Here is hoping I can get it down. Take care and let me know how you are doing. Sorry for making this long just upset tonight.

Hi Mo,

Congratulations on the weight loss, I am so proud for you.  Also, I was curious about the melba toast.  My paperwork on the pureed stage states it so odd, and it was confusing if I was allowed to have it on pureed.  So, you have answered that queston.  Puree starts for me in two days!  Whoo Hoo!  I can't wait.

Thanks Connie...I'm not that focused on the numbers, but I'm loving the life-improvements.  Enjoy the purees and let me know if you find any good combos

Good for you Mo,  Isn't it wonderful to be able to move again. Even if it's just to walk around the grocery store without your back an knees aching.
I'll have to give the melba toast a try.. I never could understand what people saw in Melba Toast .. It tasted like carboard to me.. BUT.. things taste different now. so I'm going to give it a try.

Thanks John....I've been on a steady decline the past 4 yrs, so it's so nice to feel strong in my body again.
The trick to melba toast is to have it with something creamy..cheese, dip, etc.  Enoy!

Oh yeah!! Sesame seed melba toast!! I had it with scrambled egg with salsa sauce and Tex mex cheese. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It was only 1/4 cup at the time but was sooo tastey. You are doing so welll with the weight loss. It's all those little things that only we notice like extra room on the chairs, that we can touch our toes , that I can reach all around me in the shower without pulling a muscle, that I can climb a flight of stairs now without stopping and huffing and puffing.

Sesame seed is my favourite too...melba toast, bagels & breads (pre-surgery), sesame chicken....if it has those yummy little seeds, I'm on it.
