Dr Walid Abawi- information needed

Hi Everyone

I had a VBG surgery about 5 years ago thru Dr Walid Abawi in Bowmanville On

I did quite well for a few years- but now... complications have arisen.

I need to have my informaton sent to my Doctor 'here' and for some reason I cannot find any listing for Dr Walid Abawi... the number listed on this site is out of date; as is the one I found on google...
I have tried directory assistance and found nothing!!

Does anyone here have a contact number for Dr Abawi-

I need to have my surgical file sent to the doctor here, so we can get me 'fixed'  and back on track

He did my VBG too ..and I had it revised to RNY a year ago .

I heard he retired a few years ago ..sorry I cant help more . Have you tried calling Bowmanville Hospital ..they may know more .

i am curious- how did the RNY work for you - and did u go to the States or is there someone in Toronto that can do it?

When Abawi did mine i lived in TO, but am now living in Kingston...

if i can avoid goin to the States I will

my current doctor thinks it will be 'fixed' by giving me an RNY.....  but I need to find someone who can fix the hernia AND do the surgery at same time....
