How Much Weight Did You Loose on Optifast???

Everyone loses at a different rate with optifast and even after surgery.  There is no set amount.  I lost 5 pounds with optifast...but I also had my Aunt Flo grace me on the day of surgery...so had water retention too!

As everyone said, everyone is different. i lost 15 lbs. I was worried in the second week that I wasnt losing. I got on the scale on my surgery day and I was done 15.  Good luck with optifast and having a successful surgery. Barb

Hi, I was on it for 3 weeks and I lost 23 (I think).

I was on Optifast for one week when I was called and my surgery was bumper forward so after one week I was down 18 lbs.  I was very happy.  May have been all fluids but in the end it was still 18 lbs.  But as the others have said it varies totally on the individual and your body condition at the time of taking it.

I didn't weigh myself the day I started but I it was within a week I think, so I'm kinda guessing....was on it for 2 wks, did absolutely no dieting before starting and I lost 14lbs which is exactly 10% of my excess weight. 

Weight loss is so upredictable tho'....way too many variables to be able to even guesstimate what anyone will lose on Optifast. 

I didn't do Optifast I did SF Carnation....and I lost 9lbs in (2) weeks, probably because my suregon allowed me to have a "sensible" dinner....

he was happy with that and it didn;t make it seem to be too gruelling with having to go cold turkey without food

Just kidding. lol

I was on Optifast for 4 weeks and lost 28 lbs.
