To the folks chastising each other on this thread:  Please note:  If you respond to something that you think is wrong in a negative way...you're only upping the ante in a very stupid debate...You aren't debating facts, you've lost the essence of the discussion and are now getting emotional...Get over yourselves and your personal issues about education and egos and at least just post facts...

Obviously you didn't read all the posts.  Perhaps before you chastise us, you should consider whether your last two posts add any value to this conversation. 

I add value because I'm a person and I have thoughts...

PS:  I think you are very intelligent and have a lot to offer this board...

99% of my responses were factual, with polite requests for supporting evidence. When I read all her posts- it is clear, at least to me that she can't be what she says she is- nor is it likely that she had surgery. According to her she has Lupus- RNY is contraindicated with lupus, she also has IBS- also a contraindication for RNY.
I have a very dry wit and am sarcastic- life would be very boring otherwise.
People who post 'that Optifast has ingredients to melt fat off liver need to be confronted so that others don't believe such falsehoods. Education was raised by the OP on several occasions.

Confrontations are way different than gentle nudges...

Didn't mean you have no value as a human being.  Just wondering why you chose to write what you did since I'm sure you understand that there was initially no mean spirited intent whatsoever.  When the bit of 'fun' started...Tiki had already left the building.

Actually, I saw some very mean-spirited intent masquerading as 'fun'...doesnt matter if someone has left the building or not..as the rest of us are still here...

Actually she hasn't left, she simply put those on block that were harassing her.  She felt she was being harassed and blocked your asses so why keep bashing her?  Takes a big person to keep yapping about someone behind a block.  Have you finished your chest thumps yet and do you feel proud about keep pushing this other poster into the ground? If those involved in this debate want to keep debating optifast then go for it but you are all doing nothing more in the last 2 pages but attacking someone's character after they blocked you. 

Thank you for your post! I could be your obesity journey twin. Athletic, mainly weight lifting from a young age, had an injury that morphed into a tumour and 100 extra pounds of fat. PCOS, insulin resistance, hypothyroid but excellent cholesterol and no issues with blood pressure. Optifast is actually higher in carb than what I tend to eat normally. Anyhow thanks for speaking out.
