Anyone had troubles with their panceas after RNY?
I am wondering about pancreatic insufficiency following some weird symptoms I have been having. Has anyone heard of this and/or any connection with having had RNY? I know there was someone here with pancreatitis after RNY, but can't remember who.

I developed a problem with my pancreas after RNY but it was not an insufficiency - it was an over-efficiency due to severe dumping. I developed nesidioblastosis where the pancreas produces too much insuline which attacks the glucose your body and brain need to function. Not only was I eating continuously to replace the glucose but I have neurological symptoms including speech and memory loss.
