Yet another "Fat Reality" show
On today's "The View", they had the host of yet another weight loss show. "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition", He goes into people's homes for a full year, analyzes their lifestyles, etc. and helps them lose weight over the year. I don't think he actually lives with them for the full year, as he'd only get one client every 12 months. They showed 2 people that he's worked with, but didn't show anything specific of the show, just when he first met them, and a bit of a workout with one client.
I don't recall when this starts, but it's probably a summer replacement for EM: Home Edition, so I would assume Sunday nights on ABC.

My brother and I were joking that it's really Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and they now just use the fat people to carry all the construction materials and do all the work. There's your 8 hours of exercise!
Not sure if I'll watch. Yeah, people have great success that year but what happens the next year, or the next 5 years. I'd love to see some follow up from these shows.
Biggest Loser did a "Where Are They Now?" episode but only showed the winners. What about those people who came in 2nd, 3rd, 8th?? How have THEY done now that they're out of the spotlight and not getting endorsement and speaking deals??
