Canadas Wonderland?

I know this question has probably been asked somewhere but, If anyone who has 54" hips size fits into the rides.  I'm really really really excited to go, I just dont want to be let down by not fitting.  I was also planning on buying a seasons pass so I dont want to waste my money if I wont fit. I went to the website and it only says under 40" waist line and under 52" bust line. I definately fit in under those two numbers. If anyone could let me know what they think, that would be great! :)

Hi Krista,
I'm not sure about the hip size but I do know (since I have gone to Wonderland recently) that on most rides it does give a warning that if you had a recent surgery that you should not go on.  I see you had your surgery in February but I would still hold off.  Some of the restraints on these rides are really pressed up against your stomach so I would probably wait until next year.

I did get my season pass though as I live down the street and like to take the kids on the weekends.  It's good exercise walking around the park.  Plus they have a really nice water park so on those really hot days we can enjoy the water.

Thanks for the tips.  I never would of thought about the restraints being too tight, (i'm very very small on top so maybe they'll be okay) I asked the nurse when i went for my 3 month appointment if I could go to wonderland, and they said " oh yeah its no problem" but i bet they didn't think of the restraints.  Good to know thanks :)

I would think that you  would be fine at 237!  (per your ticker)

Even at my highest of 329, I could get on every ride except the Behemoth.  I tried, and when I didn't fit, I was asked to depart the ride.  Probably the single most mortifying moment in my life.  This year my hubby bought use season's passes and I tried the ride again (let me tell you the agony I felt waiting in line).   In the end I fit okay, though I had to give the lap bar a really good shove.  I am 226 and 5'6".   I find this ride harder to fit in than even the kiddie rides, and if you are particularly full in the thighs, and butt, it can be harder to fit in.  Like I said though, I have no doubt that every other ride is fair game.  You could always use the test seat in the line up.  I have no idea what insensitive person decided to put it right out infront of everyone, but atleast It is better than waiting in line forever.

I'm going there on Monday for the first time in years so I'll try to remember and give you a report.  My hips are about 50" so I'll see how much wiggle room I have.

I surely wouldn't worry about having had surgery in February....I had my surgery in June and rode every darned ride at Disney in July!!  I even did Typhoon lagoon with the giant waves (although I found the rough and tumble pummling you get in the pool a bit much).  As long as your incisions are healed up, you should be fine there.

What size are you?  I was a size 16-18 when I went right after surgery - I fit into everything with room to spare.  When I was a size 24 - I fit in most rides except the behemoth and the two wooden roller-coasters.  I was bigger on the bottom than the top.

Hi Krista,

I just got back from Wonderland and had a great day.  I got on everything without any real issues.  The wooden roller costers were snug but that's okay.    I have about a 50.5" hips, 40" waist.  (approx size 16).  I even went on the Behemoth!  They do have a seat in front of the the ride with someone manning it to see if you can fit on.  If the light turns green, its a go!

I don't think you'll have any real issues with the rides.

Have fun!
