NSV
Well I participated in my first Relay for Life, I walked overnight for 12 hours. It was incredible, very emotional and fulfilling.
Not only did I stay up all night (a first in a very long time) but I had enough energy to walk as many of laps as most of the rest of our team. I would normally have shied away from this type of event just because I would have struggled but not anymore - I not only survived, I enjoyed it and feel like I did my part. I came home invigorated and impressed with my stamina. Just another reason why I love my RNY.

What a fantastic NSV. I haven't had surgery yet and really want to do Relay for Life - but right now it's virtually an impossibility. It in one of many NSV's I look forward to after surgery.
Way to go!

Awesome job Muriel! I did this last weekend and I can relate to the emotion that I certainly wasn't prepared for. It was a an incredible experience and one I will certainly do again.
Way to rock your surgery!
