Canada's Wonderland

Has anyone gone on the rides at Canada's Wonderland being a size 22?

Going on a roller coaster with my family is one of my major goals and because I have been stalled for the last 4 weeks I am afraid that I won't make it. The website has a guideline of around 225 lbs but that is 17 lbs away and given my recent loss I am not going to hit that by the end of July which is when we are going to Canada. Anyway I am really discouraged that I might miss this goal since it represents why I had the surgery in the first place - to live life and have fun with my family.

Hopefully someone out there has been to the park and can let me know their experience with the roller coasters, I can't stand the thought of being kicked off the ride because I am too big.. especially in front of my family.

Thanks!

I went to Canada's Wonderland last year being 275 lbs size 22 and I barely fit in any rides. It was actually very enbarassing but everyone carries there weight differently so maybe it will be different for you. I wish you all the best and a nice trip

 Sue,
I was there this past Thursday.  I am 247 lbs, size 22 or 20, depending lol.  I had a blast.  I was a little squished in the Wild Beast roller coaster, but not uncomfortably so.  I was fine on the drop zone, the coaster in the mountain, the fly and quite a few others.  I did not go on the Behemoth, but only because my kids were a bit afraid.  I saw some folks bigger than me in the line for it though.  You are a bit lighter than me, and you've still got a month.  You'll be fine.  Don't worry, you'll have a great time.

I'm a CW fiend!! I went at my heaviest (around a size 24 and 295lbs). I did not fit on the Behemouth or the wooden roller coasters. And a few rides were seriously TIGHT but I got on.

The Behemouth has a test seat out front for you to try.

Most rides are tight in the butt. My friend, shorter and as big or bigger than me, fit in the Behemouth because she is big up top but has thinner legs/hips.

I say go for it. Be prepared that you might have trouble with a few rides, but know that by the next time you go you'll be racing from ride to ride like a crazy person!!

Enjoy!
