sick???

Ok so I'm 21 months out from surgery and last week twice as I was just about asleep I got a mouthful of liquid and automatically swallowed it. Burned my throat and hurt like crazy, took a zantac and it seemed to help. Had nothing to eat or drink for a couple hours before bed. Then at 3:30 this morning woke up out of a dead sleep to the same thing. Just wondering if anyone had any idea what's going on? Could it be the start of a stricture?

Is that acid reflux? try googling it. Whatever it is, hope it resolves quickly for you.
