Guelph Appointments

Just for those anxiously keeping track, like I was, I just got a call today to meet with Dr. Reed Aug 12.  My start date was Dec 21st so they might be moving into the Jan starts soon as I remember them saying the 21st was the last day of appointments before holidays last year.
Now im worried I might not have lost since my last appointment or Lord help me actually gained a lb or 2.

Well my husband got a call this week from Guelph as they have just sent his file over and the nurse is calling to let people know that they've received files (and to be VERY patient).

They are backed up around 70+ surgeries and of course, Dr. P-H was on leave due to her mother's death and as well, the surgeons are now starting to take summer vacations so she still expects a lengthy delay.  She said that we may not hear til Christmas time (Windsor had said Fall) to even go and see the surgeon for our first meeting. 

It's not a rush for hubby as this is his busy season and with school starting in a month, my busy season starts.  So patience is a good thing I suppose!

thats grea Joanne! My date is Jan 28th, and I talked to Linda last week. She told me that I'll be attending the next post-op class in Aug. Then seeing a surgeon late sept and surgery in oct. But as we all know, it's not written in stone.
