Chewables...where to find them?
Does anyone have any info on where to find a good chewable multivitamin? Right now I use the Costco brand prenatal vitamins, but they are such horse pills that I have to bite them into four pieces just to get them down. I'm kinda done with that and so I am on the quest for a good quality chewable. Also, I have looked at Costco for the liquid calcium, but it is not strictly citrate. For those of you who use the liquid calcium, where are you getting it, and is it calcium citrate? That is what my clinic has instructed me to take.
I was originally taking the Centrum Silver from Shoppers Drug Mart, but my NUT informed me that the best chewables were the Spectrum brand from the Rexall chain (incl. Pharmaplus).
They're also cheaper than the Centrum, and don't cause any nausea despite their somewhat higher iron content.
I I miss one, I really notice the difference in my acuity and endurance.

I use either Centrum chewables (the over 50 kind, NOT that I'm over 50 mind you. lol) OR the Shoppers Spectrum brand - both are very good quality and palatable.

Things have changed since I had surgery almost 3 years ago..at that point in time I was isntructed NOT to take any type of prenatal vitamins...now people say that is what is recommended.
I take Bariatric Advantage, chewable multi-vitamins...simply because I know it is formulated for Bariatric patients...and ALSO they taste good therefore I don't hesitate to take my vitamins~!

Hi Marny. I've tried a few and have settled on the bariatric advantage chewables. They have the whole line at Humber R. R. Hospital and they taste great. I use the wellesse liquid calcium from Costco - I think it's mostly citrate (can't remember why I think that though!)
